Dr Sai Divya leads the Oculoplasty and Ocular Oncology department at Lotus Eye Institute, Coimbatore. After her residency in Ophthalmology, she completed two consecutive fellowships in Oculoplasty and ocular tumors from two premier eye institutes in India. She was also awarded the prestigious FAICO membership in Oculoplasty from All Indian Ophthalmic society. She has published in various peer reviewed International journals across globe and continues to present across multiple scientific conferences.

Oculoplastic surgeons are Ophthalmologists who are further specialized in niche branches pertaining to eyelid abnormalities like drooping(Ptosis), Ectropion / entropion and Incomplete closure of eye (lagophthalmos - post surgery / stroke / trauma), dacryology, trauma and tumors. They are adept at managing patients with complaints of watering eyes since birth or acquired during adulthood/ post trauma. They perform surgeries involving Eyelid, Orbit and Intraocular tumors. They are specialized in handling functional and aesthetic procedures like Botox and HA Filler Injections along with cosmetic rehabilitation of patients who have lost one eye or have a disfiguring globe. Their scope of work also encompasses ocular trauma with correction of lid tears and orbital fractures and Inflammatory / infectious diseases of Orbit like cellulitis and Thyroid Orbitopathy.
